A gallery located in Central, at Tai Kwun, a heritage and cultural hub in Hong Kong, specializing in lacquer arts from Japan and other parts of Asia. Started in 2012 as a pop-up store, SOIL then moved to its current location in 2023. The gallery actively promotes lacquer arts as well as other contemporary crafts that require high-level techniques and holds many solo exhibitions by various artists. Lacquer art workshops are also held regularly at the gallery.
