A traditional fine pattern called “ume komon” (repeated small patterns of plum flower) exquisitely painted using pink lacquer. The attractive shadow of each dot creates different expressions depending on the angles which is reflected through the glass on the background gradation of red and black lacquer, drawing people’s attention into itself. A magnificent gem which reflects the pinnacle of artisanal techniques from lacquered glass brand “Hyakushiki”.
