Seiko Watch Corporation has released a limited-edition Credor Goldfeather featuring a dial crafted from Imari Nabeshima ware. The dial showcases a beautiful delicate gradation and smooth, elegant curves, highlighting the artistry of traditional craftsmanship with refined watchmaking. Launched on February 6, 2026, this exceptional timepiece is limited to just 60 pieces worldwide.
Credor is a Japanese luxury dress watch brand launched in 1974, known for its finest quality and ultimate elegance, achieved through Japanese aesthetics and artisanal craftsmanship. Marking its 50th anniversary in 2024, the brand embraces “The Creativity of Artisans” as its philosophy, creating timepieces defined by meticulous detail and beauty. The Goldfeather collection, in particular, features feather-light, ultra-thin mechanical watches that blend Japanese aesthetic sensibility with exceptional craftsmanship.
The new timepiece features a dial created with Hataman Touen, a prestigious Imari Nabeshima ware kiln known for its refined painting techniques. The feather motif is formed by layering transparent overglaze over blue gosu and firing it five times, creating rich depth. The dial is fired oversized, then carved to about 1mm thick to prevent warping and achieve Godfeather’s signature curves. The delicate, vividly colored feather motif is beautifully accentuated beneath the three-dimensional, box-shaped sapphire crystal. Power comes from the ultra-thin Caliber 6890 (1.98mm thick), combining performance, craftsmanship, and beauty. The case back bears Hataman Touen’s logo and the limited serial number.
This masterpiece, created over several years by Credor and Hataman Touen, lets you experience the finest Japanese craftsmanship and aesthetics.
