Hataman Touen, an Imari Nabeshima ware kiln celebrating its 100th anniversary, continues to pursue the development of new materials and innovative techniques. In collaboration with CFCL — a brand known for its timeless clothing centered on 3D computer knitting technology — they have released the tableware series “PORCELAIN POTTERY,” a collection that seamlessly blends fashion and lifestyle.

The “PORCELAIN POTTERY” series, directed by CFCL, draws inspiration from the brand’s iconic item, the “POTTERY SKIRT,” known for its softly rounded, three-dimensional silhouette. The collection comprises eight items — a teacup, mug, flower vase, two types of plates, and three types of bowls — offered in five colors and released alongside CFCL’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Crafted from Amakusa porcelain stone and fired at high temperatures, each piece features a glossy interior contrasted with a sandblasted matt exterior. This distinctive finish highlights the original techniques developed by Hataman Touen, resulting in a smooth, tactile surface that feels comfortable in the hand — echoing the gentle volume and soft hues of its design. Each item is thoughtfully sized to complement a variety of dishes while remaining practical for everyday use. The pieces are also suitable for both microwave and dishwasher use, combining aesthetic refinement with daily functionality.

Following its pop-up at Isetan Shinjuku, the series is now available at selected CFCL stores and its official online store, as well as at the Hataman Touen Gallery Store and its official online store.
