The Japan Folk Crafts Museum
This tea bowl called “Kuro-Arita” is made with carbonized firing and it expresses a blue light coming out of the depth of darkness. The blue, born out of coincidence and yet inevitable, appears from a mysterious depth. A masterpiece seen by our mind’s eye.
