Craft x Tech is exhibiting at the London Design Festival 2026, one of the most influential design festivals, from September 12, 2026. This marks their second participation and showcases the “Craft x Tech Tokai Project,” a collection of works created through six collaborative projects between traditional craft regions from Tokai, Japan, and international designers and artists.
Now in its 24th edition, the London Design Festival is recognized as an international design platform that brings together designers, brands and cultural institutions from across the globe. The 2026 edition focuses on the themes of international exchange, the revival of craft and future-facing technologies. Craft x Tech Tokai Project has been honored as one of the Festival’s Special Projects, and the exhibition is presented at the renowned Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in Kensington, London — one of the world’s leading museums of art, design, and decorative arts. The exhibition will remain on display beyond the festival period, continuing until September 30, 2026.
Following the successful Tokyo exhibition that drew large crowds, this marks the first overseas presentation. The diverse range of works, born from the traditional crafts rooted in the Tokai region and the creativity of artists, is expected to captivate audiences worldwide.
