GOOD DESIGN Marunouchi
This handheld fan is a reproduction of Uchiwa-e ( a genre of woodblock print ), which consist of works that were painted from the end of Edo period to the beginning of Showa period. This piece is decorated with a picture of “Kikyo” by Taizan Sakakibara, an artist who was active in the early 1900s. Old Yakusugi ( Japanese cedar ) wood is used for the handle. A tasteful work that allow us to feel the flow of time.
