GOOD DESIGN Marunouchi
This wooden bucket was crafted by the sole remaining yuiokeshi, or traditional bucket craftsman, in Tokyo. The smooth sawara cypress boards joined seamlessly together and the refined silver hoops exude a subdued elegance. In the past, these buckets were tools of daily life, but today they can enrich our lives not as necessities, but as exceptional products whose graceful and stylish appearance continue to embody the spirit of Edo craftsmanship in our modern lives.
