Respect for Nature

This wooden mobile represents the utmost expression of the ancient art of Kumiko, an intricate technique of wood joinery. A series of pieces of wood are carefully arranged one by one to create an elegantly flowing curved surface, the light falling between them appearing as sunlight filtering through water.
